March scores expectations

Prediction of my scores

780- Writing
740-Math
740- Reading

2260.

Yeah, I predict just a tad lower assuming a somewhat generous curve.

@Caruso707-
That’s definitely not close to an 800; a 750+ is paramount to the, as eagles94 put it, ‘coveted 2300’. A 30-40 point gain (I’m assuming there’s a couple more wrong that I’m confident I’m wrong on) is of short of what I agonized over.

@eagles94-
I know, right? Sophomore year I was focused on just a 2100-2200, but now that I’m like, 4 questions away from that 2300-club, uggh…

I think
-0 math (from what I’ve seen as people’s q’s on the math forum): 800

  • 3 writing mc 10-12 essay (hopefully 750?!?)
    -4 CR ( don’t think I got one wrong according to what people here say, but generally -3/-4 practice, so 750 again?

Total 1550/2300 hopefully. Idk anywhere from a 2150- 2350 based on luck and scale.

I’d be happy with a 1950 :smiley:
Breaking 2000 on my first try is tantamount to getting a 2350 for you geniuses. No joke. It would make me feel like I haven’t been wasting my time practicing.

Predictions:

M 670
CR 660
W 670

Surprisingly I did really bad on the Writing MC. I never get more than 5 wrong and I think I got -7 :\ But I’m almost positive my essay is in the double digit range. Praying for the best here.

790-800 W (already superscored 800)
770-800 CR (superscored 790)
750-780 M (so far roughly -1/-2)

Ideal score: 2310-2380, unless there’s a generous math curve.

Prior scores (Nov. 2011):
800 W (-1, 10 E)
790 CR (-2)
690 M (-6; had poor time management and rushed through two of the sections. Ugh.)

I must get a higher score on this test or my parents will fry me alive for wasting their $50.

@ thesmiter: I lol’ed. The only thing you needed to bring up was the math which you most likely did if you only got -1/2… I’m sure the test is worth a lot more than $50 in terms of getting you into college. Just curious - how did your parents react (or lack of) to that 2280 on your first SAT?

M: -0
W: -0 (10ish essay)
CR: Probably 650ish; i’m too lazy to check my answers

Hopefully 2300, but most likely mid 2200s.

Does anyone know the range for what a -2 and 11/12 essay would give for Writing? I don’t understand how to convert raw multiple choice score to the total scaled score.

@russgenious: They yelled at me for my low math score. I’m Chinese. ): That’s should explain why…

@michael2013: Probably 780 at the lowest, a likely 790.

M -1 780
CR -6 wrong (-7 raw) 730
W I got a 740 last time so I don’t really care :D

Haha middle of expectations was the actual. 2300 800M 800CR 700W. Would be happier if there wasn’t someone higher in my school lol.
