Marshall Business School VS. Babson

I’m currently debating between Marshall and a small business school in Boston, called Babson. Marshall is a better business school; however, I like the fact that Babson has a really tight-knit community and the students can easily talk to their professors whenever they want. I also received a scholarship there. However, Marshall is well-known and has a wider range of classes that I am interested in. I’m worried that since there are so many students at Marshall, the interaction with the professors is not as personal. Could somebody help me out or comment on this dilemma?

Also, I want to concentrate in finance, does anyone know how strong Marshall’s finance program is?

Thank you

My son is an accounting major, information system minor–he has lots of interaction with his professors. Marshall is a wonderful school with amazing opportunities.

Marshall doesn’t have a formal finance program until grad school. You get a BSBA, but it doesn’t have a formal finance emphasis area or anything that would indicate you majored in finance. You would just take a lot of finance classes to achieve what you want.

Having said that, I also have a Marshall/Leventhal Accounting grad and it was fabulous.
