<p>FIU is a more professional driven program (meaning more of a MBA substitute for local professionals). Because of this work experience or your essay will have greater influence. I’d imagine you would be safe with a 600-640 GMAT. That is what I would target.</p>

<p>I’d probably email the admissions director (Isabel E. Lopez Miranda) and get her opinion on it. The better question is what are you going to use the degree for and why are you targeting FIU?</p>
<p>I go to USF and I can tell you that USF and FSU both require a minimum of 550 for the MSF program.</p>
