MAT 131 or not?

<p>I took the placement test and scored a 5 so it was recommended I take MAT 131.
I made my schedule so this is what I will be taking unless I change it. </p>

<p>What I'm worried about is will it be too hard for me? Will I be taught with a full understanding instead of speed lessons? The highest math I took in high school was Alg2/trig. I never took calculus before.</p>

<p>It’s accelerated compared to three semester 125-126-127 sequence. If you study and apply yourself, you should be able to keep up. Try it and see for the first week. If it seems too difficult, you can drop down to 125.</p>
