Match Me, Baby!

I posted this once before, but it sounded more like a chances thread...so let me try again.

I have to plan my college visits wayyyyyyy in advance because I live so far away. My parents asked me to figure out my top school, and we would visit them. Would ya'll be so kind to read some of the things that I am looking for in college.

Important Factors:
1. I want to go to school on the East Coast (although I haven't been there...yet)
2. I am interested in creative writing, journalism, and spanish...and i am definitely going to study abroad.
3. I NEED the school to have a campus and I would LOVE for it to be all green and pretty with big lawns and old school buildings that were built in the early 1800s....i know....tall order
4. 3,000-8,000 students would be the best, but I am pretty flexible on that.
6. It can't be conservative. It doesn't need to be radically liberal or have a ton of political actism...but it just can't be conservative.
5. And finally, the less there is of a core-curriculum, the better.

It would be just dandy if you could list a variety of schools...from top tier to sweet safties. Muchos Gracias!

Bowdoin and Middlebury sound like a fit.

any other suggestions :)
