Yes, I misspoke. He has a good shot at an excellent scholarship at one of his safety schools.
I’ll just add that W&M is very generous in accepting AP credits. Students can double major and still graduate in 4 years. Seems that many privates are much more stingy in accepting those AP credits, making it very challenging to double major and actually graduate on time. Many research opportunities as well.
And while Williamsburg isn’t a booming metropolis, it does have @ 40 shops/restaurants in Merchants Square/Colonial Williamsburg, a short walk from campus.

Thanks for that! I had not compared AP credits for the “new” match schools. George, Washington, William & Mary, and American all have good AP credit transfers.
