Which schools would I get into? preferably in the northeast.
Hey, I was wondering if the following schools accepts students with gpas below 3.0 (like 2.8 or around that) and a sat score on the lower side (1000-1230). *Lots of ecs and volunteer hours too.
-Rutgers
-University of Buffalo
-NYIT
-University of Rhode Island
-Suffolk University
Which of the colleges would most likely accept a student with those stats^^
thanks
You may have a shot at URI and Suffolk. I’m not familiar with admission stats of the others. Also check out University of Hartford (Health Sciences-Preprofessional) and UMass Dartmouth (Health & Society).
You can look up grades and scores of admitted students. Google Common Data Set and look at section C.
Pharm is going to need math and science skills. How do you stand in those? Not just minimum grades, but strengths. Be sure you’re ready.
Does your school have Naviance? If it does, check the statistics for each of your target colleges. Are students with your gpa and test scores getting into these schools?
I’m strong in Biology, and I’m currently in a Physics course. I didn’t do so well in Chemistry because of my teacher and also I was not emotionally stable at the time.
I’m most probably going to take a subject test in Biology.
