Materials, Mechanical or Electrical?

<p>I am interested in the auto industry. I would love to work on cars, design process, improvements, etc. I also have interests in materials in general like magnets, tailoring materials to serve a purpose seems very cool, i.e. making better bulletproof vests, etc. As well power seems very cool in general.</p>

<p>I am at a cross roads here...</p>

<p>I am wondering what degree would suit me better?</p>

<p>The best thing to do is to start as an undecided engineering major and then find out about each of the areas in your first of second semester. All the coursework should be the same over that period. You can then make a more informed decision at the end of your first year.</p>
