Materials Science Program

<p>As much as I know people loathe rankings, I've noticed in my college research that Ann Arbor has consistenly been in the top 3 for materials science engineering. I was curious to see if there were any posters who were familiar with the program. Specifically I was hoping to hear opinions/stories on the size of the department, the job/research oppurtunities, and the difficulty of the major overall. </p>

<p>Don't know too much about it, other than that it's a relatively small department (~40 kids/year) so you probably get to interact with faculty pretty frequently.</p>
