Is it okay to take Math 155B your first semester of freshman year? I enrolled in 155b but after looking more into it, it seems that 155b is a continuation of math 155a, meaning I should take math 155a first. Anyone have any insight?

If you are very comfortable with differential calculus (i.e have AP Credit for 155a or other similar credit), and need to take 155ab sequence for either your major or pre-professional track, I would recommend going ahead and take 155b.

Math 155a is the equivalent of AP Calc AB. If you have that down, you’re ready for 155b.

What did you take in high school? Like Pancaked stated, 155a is essentially AB Calc.
