I had a question about the materials required for that class.
so when I clicked around on the telebears site, apparently i can buy a linear alg package for 82 dollars. does that include the diff eq text book as well (b/c the class apparently uses 2 textbooks)?

and also, if i wanted to buy the books elsewhere, would that put me at a disadvantage since it seems like these books are custom berkeley edition?
what's teh diff between the "custom berk ed" and the other version?

Buy the custom package. It comes with the Linear Algebra book by Larson and a smaller Differential Equation book. The books are all custom editions.

custom edition = potions of the book are left out, so theoretically it’s cheaper to buy a new custom edition vs. a new full edition.

if they’re using the same editions of the book, buying them used off of comegetused.com or a friend would be the cheapest option. or a used full edition would probably work as well.
