I will be taking the SAT for the first time–in about a month, and I am having problems with the math.
I keep getting mixed things about what will be on the test. One moment a prep book will tell me I need very little math, that it is more about reasoning, that I wont even need the quadratic formula, and I get amazing scores. But another test prep, I am having to do quadratic formula, things that some preps tell me won’t be on the test.
I know what kind of math that is on the test, but how hard is it? Is it more about reasoning that remembering? Will there be things like graphing functions and quadratic equations? Will you have to have a ton of equations memorized?
Thanks for any help!
Cheers! (Sorry this is so scattered, I’m very tired, lol!)
@owlsaremybuddies See the official released practice tests by CB for an idea of what will be on the (revised) test.
Thanks for your advice! I’ve done all four! Yet I still feel conflicted about what will be on the test. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what will be on my test!!
