Is an 800 really 90th percentile? And also dont colleges realize that alot of kids can get 800 on IIC?? Im just wondering whether an 800 IIC is kind of "expected" if you're in calc

Wow, do you honestly think an 800 is in the 90th percentile? Think about that, if you got an 800, that means its not possible for anybody to score higher than you. Which means that 0 kids did better than you. Which means your in the 99th percentile

FlyinV: the scores don't work like that due to the curving system for the SATII

You have the percentile system backwards. Percentile tells you how many people did worse than you. Due to the high scores on the IIC (which is based on the people taking the test and not the test itself), about 10% of the test takers get 800's. Thus, you are in the 90th percentile because could not have done better than the top 10%. By the way, only the scaled score is used to compute percentile.

fwiw: the mean of Math 2 is 669
