I am double majoring in Math and Economics and eventually I would like to either join an investment bank, or do a PHd in economics. My GPA is as follows:

Cumulative: 3.5; Economics: 3.8; Math: 3.6

I have about 5 more math classes left before I complete my math major and I am scared that two out of the five will not go too well. I have heard these 2 classes are really hard and I expect to get a grade no better than an A-. Realistically, I will probably get a B or a B+

I am concerned because this will have an adverse effect on my GPA. If I choose not to major in Math, I will probably be able to score straight A's in most of my classes and get a higher GPA. Do you think I should still pursue a math major? Do most math majors have lower GPAs then say a sociology or even an economics major? Will employers/ grad schools prefer a straight economics major with 3.8-3.9 gpa over a double major with a 3.5-3.6 gpa?
