Math Quality at CSU Chico

Can anybody tell me how "good" Math at CSU Chico is?

I'm an incoming math major and am planning to go into research. The research might be in math itself, or something math related such as bio-mathematics or physics. I will be aiming for a Masters or PhD.
However, I cannot find any information on the general quality of Chico's math program, how well it will prepare me for research, and whether it is good for graduate school.
So far the only thing I could find out is that one of the math professors is able to sing really, really loudly.

Anybody have more (hopefully useful) information? Thanks.
(Also, if anybody can give me info on Chico's psychology, biology, or physics programs that would be great.)

Have you visited the campus? Go to admitted students day this weekend and talk to the faculty and students

I don’t know anything about Chico’s program really. The math program at Cal Poly Pomona is decent (friend of mine just got into Cornell). But I know in general you should 1) get great grades or you’re screwed for top schools since you’re not at a highly ranked school 2) do REU’s because CSU’s are not really research universities 3) look at the work of your teachers and see which one’s recommendations would matter more by their background/connections. I think they do summer research programs at Chico, though.

Why didn’t you go to a UC if you planned on doing research?
