Oh God, if I get a 700 in math I would be SO HAPPY. That would put me at a 2300! (Last time I got 800 CR and W and 600 M, lol).

im just really hoping to get a 800. i got a 730 4 years ago so it should be possible.
anyone have a list compiled of the math answers?
i saw one for the CR and that would be really useful for the math

well I got 770 two years ago as well but it's not really about the difficulty level for me, it's about how many stupid little mistakes I make.

I was really hoping for a 800 this time but I think I put 6pi instead of 4pi on that one problem with two concentric circles. The bigger one's radius was 2 greater than the other's, so it's just 2x2=4pi. I can't remember exactly but I have a feeling I put 6pi. God damn it. :/

same with me. I know how to do most the problem types, but the little mistakes keep me around 700, rather than the upper 700s

yea that one was 4pi. almost positive
but yea im really afraid of how much stupid mistakes i made
i actually went back and checked my answers this time tho.
i double checked everything and realized i had made 4 dumb mistakes and corrected but im still really nervous

setitan - I'm not really sure what you're getting at, but y>90 means that the angle is more than 90, therefore the triangle can only be obtuse.

no you are right the answer is 4pi
I am just saying I cant remember if I put 4pi or 6pi
hopefully the former

I just did that problem out. I can't believe I omitted it!
:(

does anyone remember what the answer was to the question in last math section with t, s, and x. it was something along the lines of a person buying books...also anyone know what the answer was to number 8 for the grid-in with the dimensions of the pool...(maybe it wasnt a pool) and what the answer was to the question regarding what intervals where g(x) was greater than f(x)

i think the answer was x-t+s

It was:
If girl adds t books to her collection, she will have x books. How many books will she have if she adds s books instead of t to her collection?
x = t + old collection
old collection = x - t
new collection= old collection + s
thus, = x-t+s ^:)

thank you! do you remember what the answer was to 7 on the grid-in...something along the lines of plugging into an equation and finding (a) in coordinate (a,b). also the question with the ranges..finding where g(x) is larger than f(x) :)

I was just wondering if perhaps the question read "It's a non-right triangle" rather than "y>90," which would mean the side could be less than 5.

no, it definitely said y>90

goddamn this sucks. i missed 4, all stupid mistakes, which puts me back at the same score i got at the dec. test. Hopefully the curve will save me.

was the balloon question and the interior parabola question in the same section?....or were they in separate 20 question sections...? i don't think the balloon section was on the 16 question math section...I swear i had 4 math sections...

Elanorci!!! I havent disagreed with u yet, but the answer to that question was

x+s,

it was tricky because her collection was x, so if she added s books instead of t it would be x+s...

I remember because I read it twice...it seemed really weird.

what was the balloon question?

Are you sure? lets say she has s(10) books, and if she adds 10 more books
(t), she will have 20 (x)....Instead of adding 10 books, she adds 5 (y), which means she had 15 books....so the answer would be x-y...

BigWeight

x is the the number of books in her collection, it's the number of books she has after you add t books to the collection.
