Math Question Compilation for June 2008 SAT

i think im stupid. I spent 15 minutes on the y=mx+b one and i just put 6 out of desperation. I still cant even do it now.

I got all the others though. Math was easier this time.

You're a lucky bastard, 6 was the right answer.

I got 772772 for the box one. Was it supposed to add up to 16 or 14? Because I read sixteen and now I'm freaking out...

Can we compile a list of answers for the fill-ins?

For the one that talked about the polygons and the sides, what did you guys put?
About the box one: It only asked for one number, right? I'm pretty sure that there were multiple ways to fill in the box, but they all required repetition of the seven. Pretty interesting question.

Its 16. How did ya'll solve it? I plugged in numbers

Gosh, I can't remember.

i got 7 4.5 4.5 7 4.5 4.5

For the box one, I put 745745.

Both are correct though, since the question is asking only about the first box, which, in both cases, is 7.

does anyone know how to do the question about the rectangle with diagonals that hit (5,t) and corners (-2,t) and (5,t+2) was the answer 32 or 36

i omitted that one.
and was the balloon question 4 or 7?

i put 11 sides as the polygon one.

it was add up to 16, but the numbers themselves didnt matter as long as they repeated. the gray box HAD to be 7 though. basically

7|x|y|7|x|y

to make it work like they wanted

rectangle with (5,t) etc was 36. the points weren't corners, they were just points on the sides of the rectangle. perimeter came out to 14+14+4+4

balloon one was 4. I'm positive

balloon = 4.

Rectangle one:
It gave you the diagonal intersection, which is the center. If (5,t) is the center and (-2, t) is a side, half of one side of the rectangle is seven, making the whole side fourteen. If (5, t+2) is also a side, half of the other side is two, making the whole side four. So for P: 14+14+4+4 = 36
Anyone else get this?

the perimeter was 2(14) + 2(4).

for the polygon one, what was that question....i dont remember...

and think what u want y=2x and I was EXTREMELY SURE

11 and I agree.

polygon=11

i don't remember the rectangle (5,-t) one...so that must be exp.?

yeah but what was the problem????

i cant think of it...

that was the one where like each side was less than a meter, and the perimeter was 10 meters.. what was the least amount of sides it could have..
and yayy i got 11 too!
