<p>How many positive integers less than 1,000 are multiples of 5 and are equal to 3 times an even integer?
Answer : 33</p>

<p>5<em>2</em>3=30. So we are looking for all of the positive multiples of 30 less than or equal to 1000. Just divide 1000 by 30, and take the integer part of the answer.</p>
