So, I am extremely weak in math and was wondering what the math requirements for IT were? I am a criminology major right now but I would like to change that to my minor. However, I can barely pass Math 106 and I am worried about the math requirements for IT. Can anyone is currently, or has taken IT at mason provide a little more detail about the requirements? How much of the math skills will be applied? Preferred professors, ones to avoid. Thank you

I think you’d have to take Calculus up to Calc 3 and Statistics and probably at least one other higher level math class… probably not a good idea to switch into IT unless you can handle the math. But check out the exact degree requirements online through the gmu.edu web site, and/or talk to your advisor.
