<p>Answer is 666.
Reason-1 to 999 are the positive integers under 1000. Of these, 333 are divisible by 3 (3,6,9.12…999).
So, not divisible ones are 999-333=666.

<p>There are 333 numbers in the set {3,6,9,…,333} (you can divide every element by 3, i.e. {3,6,…,999} has the same # of elements as {1,2,…,333}).</p>
