You can probably just find it online, no need to beg for it. Unless the begging is to feed my ego.

so i can't find the ans to the following problem in the answer key:

An astronaut on a strange planet finds that she can jump a maximum horizontal distance of 17.0 m if her initial speed is 3.80 m/s. What is the free-fall acceleration on the planet? (Ignore air resistance.)

Horizontal range = u^2. sin(2@) / g
where u is 3.8 and @ is the angle with the horizontal.
Also, for max jump distance, angle should be 45... so sin(2@) becomes = 1
so range = u^2 / g
and g = u^2 / range = (3.8)^2 / 17

do we count lone pairs for the numbering of stereocenter attachments? i hear they are number 0...

in order to be a chiral atom, it must be attached to four different things. so normally you won't have to worry about lone pairs when dealing with stereochemistry

a solution says that all planar molecules are achiral. i don't see that. perhaps i will if i build a molecule...

a solution says that all planar molecules are achiral. i don't see that. perhaps i will if i build a molecule...

also, i get mixed up with the definitions diastereomer and meso compound. how'd they relate? a meso compound is an achiral compound that contains two or more stereocenters. diastereomer is a stereoisomer that is not an enantiomer. meso compounds aren't enantiomers either.

thanks :) midterm tomorrow.

I don't understand why you don't just go to office hours...? Or Covel tutoring or AAP if you qualify...?

Why don't you mind your own business?

when is physics covel tutoring? i don't have their schedule and i've asked ppl about their physics tutoring, in which i have class then...

i registered but i think physics was too many ppl so they didn't admit me. i'll just come and don't sign in...

is AAP strict in attendance? could i just show up/ where can i find out about their physics schedule? i don't qualify for them.

im asking about physics b/c it is the most painful class ever. i hope i'll get inspired and intereted somehow.

I'm not sure, but try checking in Covel Level 2. Some classes have schedules and room assignments posted on white boards.

what is a good way to remember stretching frequencies of IR spectrum analysis:
zone 1: 3700-3200
zone 2: 3200-2700
zone 3: 2300-2000
zone 4: 1850-1650
zone 5: 1680-1450

no matter how much i practice, the stretching frequencies are not clicking in my head.

flashcards.

Still need help with this, dwm? I memorized them easily, but I don't want to type it all out if you've already got it down

physics 6a is difficult. i wonder if i'll live through 6b and 6c.
