Math/Stats Grad Program?

I just graduated last summer with a BS in Math/Econ from UCLA. My major GPA was 3.86. I did well in theory and analysis but am more interested in the data/numerical aspect of it. Does anyone know of any interesting programs in stat or math that I can look into? I'm working now but wish to go back to school soon, after getting as much knowledge as I can about grad schools. Just want to talk to some people... Anyone?

Berkeley has an excellent graduate statistics program. So do Stanford, Harvard, Cornell, Chicago, and others.

I have heard good things about UChicago's program for financial mathematics http://www-finmath.uchicago.edu/index.html.

You guys know of any forums/discussion boards that are geared towards math/stats people? I want to talk to more people about their experience in choosing programs, application process, advice, etc.

If you are interested in statistics for technological application Georgia Tech's ISYE School (#1 Ranked Graduate School for ISYE in the nation) has a joint program with the GT School of Math for graduate programs in statistics. Its a growing program with few students but well supported by faculty and by grants. Your GPA looks good for it.
