Math: surface areas?

Should i memorize the formulas for surface areas like for cone and cylinder?

unlike the SAT, the ACT generally gives unusual formulas in the questions.

i thought it was that the sat gave the formulas...

the SAT gives the formulas at the beginning of each section. while the ACT doesn't do that and expects you to memorize special triangles and stuff, it doesn't expect you to remember formulas such as h(pi)(r^2) = volume of cliner etcetc. those are given in the questions.

i'm pretty sure. someone correct me if i'm wrong though
