I can't seem to break into the 700's on the maths section.
I've been hovering around the 650 mark for quite a while now.
I'm taking the SAT on the coming saturday.
People who got more than 700 please help!
Any tips would be useful.

Don’t make the same error twice. This is generally much easier to do in Math than CR or W.

My problem used to be geometry, I hadn’t touched it in 2 years! My first attempt was 610 (I skipped a bunch due to time), but my second attempt was 720. I pretty much just wrote down a bunch of formulas/general things to remember on a piece of paper and studied it up to the morning of the test. I used things I wouldn’t have been able to use before like the distance formula or remember that the angle of the triangle is 60 because of the conditions it was in.

I’ve no problem with the Maths section theoratically.
The problem is that I get nervous during timed conditions and make silly mistakes on the easiest of questions!
And after doing the practice tests I realize that I got the really easy ones wrong , the questions I knew I could do.

Need help on that

Considering you have already been practicing I’d say it’d be difficult to break through the 700 barrier by Saturday.

I went from 520 ish to 650 in a weekend. Later that week I hit 770 out of nowhere and then bombed back down (stroke of good luck? Loss of confidence? both?). I haven’t been able to score above 690 since.
My first major increase from baseline happened after brushing up (note: I’ve been out of HS for 10 years). I really don’t know how/why I hit 770 and then dropped almost 100 pts.
