Hello, I've heard that Common App only allows you to apply for 20 colleges at maximum. Does this include all colleges under early AND regular plans?
Can you apply to additional colleges if they do not use Common App?

I'm still new to the application process.
Thank you in advance!

You get 20 per version of your common app but you can create an alternative version of your common app; see <a href=“https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/Docs/AlternateVersionTechnologyFAQ.pdf[/url] ”>https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/Docs/AlternateVersionTechnologyFAQ.pdf ; for how you do so. You can also as you suggest use a college’s own application for those that provide one.

When your guid counselor charges you from across the room, you know you’ve met your limit.

20? that’s way too many in my book. Your research and/or decisiveness are severely lacking.

Thanks for your answers. Yes, I’m still new to the process so I’m trying to know more about this common app system.

I also think that applying to 20 colleges is way too much. I didn’t say that I will apply to 20 colleges, sorry for my wording there.
