May 07 Subject Test Score Thread

tux-
If your score is so discrepant from what you expected, ask for a copy of the full test. Maybe they scored it wrong, or maybe you were offline on the answer sheet. If so, they can rescore.

I'm almost sure there's no mistake. Sorry to be rude but confidence can sometimes work against you (playing Devil's Advo. here..).

I know one girl who absolutely knew walking out of the testing center that she scored an 800 on Chem. She was so happy. And what happened? A 690.

I, on the other hand, was about to cancel my score for Chem because I thought I did horrible. Let's just say that I had a close to perfect-perfect score.

How do I do that?

But charlie, I checked the entire test over again. I skipped one question and I made sure that I actually skipped it on the answer sheet.

US History- 790 (SO CLOSE!!!!!)

First - congrats on all the great scores, everyone!
I only took one test during the May sitting. One hour is long enough for me to try keep my concentration, heh.

Math 2 --> 800

Math IC 800
Math IIC 800

780 Us History
790 Chem

790 - US History

People who took the Lit--how hard was it? How did you do? How did you prep? If you used a prep book, which one was it? Thanks a lot, I am a little nervous about the June 2nd test. Any tips you could provide would be appreciated! Thanks.

760 - US History

Blahhh....whatever. 750+ scores are all the same. Now I just need to study for Math IIC in June...not to mention finals at school...

Bio E: 770
Math II: 770
US: 790

Chem: 800
US History: 790

Should I retake USH? I know I could bump it up; i just made some dumb mistakes

Chem - 760

Should I leave that score alone? This is the first subject test I've taken-- above 750 is good enough, right?

^^^Yes, any score above 750 is the same!! bc of the curve: you could have gotten a 790 or 730 depending on how others did, so it doesn't matter.

Fast27---are you kidding me?!?! what is 10 points going to do?? Absolutely nothing. Yeah every admissions officer who sees your SAT 2 scores will be disapprove that you did not score a 800 on every SAT 2 exam. Give me a break.

As for me, I wouldn't dream of retaking any of my tests, especially at $18.50 a pop (my funds are low!)
US 760
Bio E 760
Lit 620

Lol @ everyone wanting to retake tests with 700+ scores.

I feel so inadequate posting near everyone else...

Math IIC: 730
Chemistry: 740
US History: 670

Everyone on CC is so smart...
"I feel so inadequate posting near everyone else..."

Chemistry: 770 (I really wanted an 800 :-/)
Math Ic: 760 (How was the curve?)
US History: 610 (I have NO STAMINA, lazy APUSHer, no study, stupid Geraldine Ferraro, how bad is this score percentile-wise? T_T)

...I want to go to college.

I was disappointed with my score, as I know I should be able to do better than that...

US History: 680

I'm not exactly sure if I should retake or not on June 2nd. This is my first SAT II and i'll be taking Bio and Math IIC in June. I might have forgotten a little bit of the US History material, but i'm not sure whether I should retake it or not. I also don't know if taking 3 tests on the same day will be beneficial to me, and I know you CCer's may think it will be easy, but most likely not for me. Also, history isn't one of the main subjects I plan on majoring on or anything like that, and do you think that if I get 750+'s on both bio and math IIC it will balance out for my US History score? I plan on applying the the major UC's. Also, my GPA is not great at all (around 3.5, not exactly sure), so do you recommend I take US History again to balance out for my crappy GPA? Thanks.

You're welcome, almagetty. :)
