770 - Chem
720 - Math I

US History: 790

French: 760
could be worse

USH: 800

Yeah!!!

Okay, I felt good about my 660 in lit before, but now I just don't!

US History: 790
Math II: 750

I'm slightly disappointed with my math score since it seems a bit low for the most selective colleges. I also have a 720 in Bio. Should I retake math and bio?

no, monkeyjoint. Your scores are fine -- unless you are trying to make up for some giant deficit, GPA-wise.

And just so everyone is clear about this, once again:
There was a student who scored outstanding on one of the SAT's, but her GPA was not quite up to par for the "most selective" colleges. She got into CMU (nothing to sneeze at!), but not places like Princeton, because of that GPA bar.

...Whereas, her classmates (also classmates of my D) who out-gpa'ed her, but "under-"scored her, got into more selective colleges during the same round. (Ivies, Stanford, etc.)

Math Level 2 - 750

Gahh I'm very disappointed in myself, especially since I know I could've gotten a perfect score but I just didn't prepare enough ... screw Barron's, lol.

My D's SAT II scores;

Chem : 750
Math II: 800
USH: 690 :(

To quote many people:

OMFG 770 retake

Wt.f is wrong with you?

Math I: 800
Math II: 800
Physics: 800
:D

USH:700
Chem: 720

kinda disappointed with my chem score. should i retake the chem in june if i want to get into UCB, UCSD, and UCSD? my sat reasoning score is pretty low (1890,) but my gpa is decent (4.2 UC gpa)

oh yeah, and i want to get into usc too

My scores were 770 for chem and 720 for math I. should i reconsider taking math I becuase i went in with no preparation... i didnt even know wat the format would be like. Im gonna take math II in the next testing date so is it worth retaking math I or not?

Epiphany:

Thanks for posting your thoughts. My DD got her SAT II scores today and both tests are over 700, but not the perfect 800. You've put my mind at ease that these scores, combined with her awesome SAT I and her GPA will get her due consideration at any school which she may ultimately apply to.

Thanks for being a voice of reason!!

800 math 2
740 bio m
630 physics

I didn't know they tested optics in physics. AP PHysics C doesnt cover optics, or relativity, or 60% of the test. So I'm fine with my score. I'll probably retake it though.

Yeah. It's always a good idea to check what the test covers.

Yeah...had to learn that the hard way. Oh well.

I didn't realize that Physics B covered totally different topics. And usually more kids take Physics B than calc based Physics C

Guys, what do you think the curve was on Chemistry? I have this dead-beat score, a 680, then I'm almost sure I didn't get. I walked out of there so confident. I thought I got a perfect score.
