Wait really, are you sure?! God I hope so....

the Cherokee, Choctaw and other tribes were Southeast Woodlands...

For the political patronage one, was the answer: giving offices to those who supported them? B?

giving offices is spoils system, right?

I though patronage has something to do with funding...

the slave one was definitely brazil and caribbean, because it said seventeenth and eighteenth century, only south carolina had slavery from the outpost, georgia was filled with debtors, so how could they afford slaves? maryland was a free colony at first as well.

oh ye.....forgot aobut that question. Anyone know what political patronage is????

I chose A, when a wealthy backer supports a political candidate. Just a hunch...probably wrong.

Edit: after looking at some stuff it seems be what J.Shi said, B. So, probably another word for the spoils system

Alright thanks symphony...glad i got that one.

patronage was the giving offices one, i'm pretty sure. i was on the fence on that one at first, because the meaning of "patron" has to do with funding, but i don't think there was any of that in USH.

Yeah that was the answer, I looked it up...

patronage means giving offices to those that support u.
ya that tribe one confused me, i put iraquois, only word i recognized

The Creek Indians were in FL (Jackson fought them - they were also known as the Redsticks, I think). So I said Southeast Woodsland

haha ye i was tempted to put iroquis for the veyr same reason. I thought about Worcester v Georgia, and assumed the Cherokees were from around Georgia, which is around the Southeast

what about the women question with teh chart? I thought none of the answers was correct, but i think i guessed that more women worked even tho families were bigger or something

um something about how single women decreased in % from 1920-1930 in teh workplace

Does anyone know what the curve usually is for this test? Could I still get a perfect with -7? (that would really be -9 because of guessing penalty)

was it really? I remember looking at that, but it didnt decrease

what did u guys put for

the suburbs of the 1950s "EXCEPT" question
and the one at the end with a quote about women, was it women's rights in the early 19th century?

whats the answer to the transportation passage? i've seen people say farmers and small businesses or something, but i put the midwestern consumers. it said which would it affect LEAST, so wouldn't that be the consumers? everyone else benefits because they can ship their goods to different places, but it wouldn't matter for the consumers.

suburbs i put E, something about being soft on soul or something like that. women's rights i put the equal rights amendment, but i think that's incorrect.

I put small busisnesses. the one with the quote right? If u read that, it mentions how big businesses will take over, directly affecting small businesses, not farmers
suburbs i put corrupt goverment, but i guessed. Womens rights i guessed suffrage, because they wanted that before equal rights

oo i see, thanks kevin, i see how i probably read it too fast ^^

isn't suffrage included in equal rights?

i didn't really take any practice tests, so i don't know how the curve works, but how was this test compared to other ones? harder? easier? will the curve be generous?

the women Q is the equal credit or w/e.. has nothin gto do with sex/gender
