Please check back in 7-10 days for May SAT scores
Although most scores for the May SAT are online now, a small number are not yet available. If your scores are not currently available online, please learn why and check back in about a week.

CR: 800
M:780
W:800 (76 and a 12, so I guess that works)

Wow. My first time and I had to be slightly braggy about it. Can’t lie though; I’m feeling ambivalent because I really wanted the 2400… obviously something happened in math.

The real reason I’m posting this though is to ask, is this good enough to get me qualified for Presidential Scholar? I’m a male in Arkansaw and a girl in my school won with a 35 ACT this year and another was nominated with a 34 composite. If this should be good enough, time to kick my feet up and relax :)

So…This is my second time taking it and I’m still thinking that I could’ve gotten a higher reading score. Is it worth taking, since I’m within a certain “range,” or could 30 or so points still significantly help me if I retake?

Btw, I’m a sophomore…so I still have time to retake.

Can’t say I’m not a little disappointed, but at least my PSAT score went up
CR - 690
Math - 710
Writing - 740
Total - 2140
It’s kind of funny though, my strengths were completely flipped for the PSAT and SAT…

Well, my overall score went up 90 points from January. Reading went up 90, writing went up 50. But math went down 50, so now my already embarrassing math score is pretty humiliating. Guess I’ll be retaking my senior fall.

Wow. Even though my score only went up 40 points overall I went up 110 points in math! Which means I don’t even care about that lousy writing score since with my december CR and W I now have a 2300 superscore! yes yes yes! Not sure if it’s worth retaking it again by this point…

I’m surprised my CR and W are higher than M – I scored 70 CR / 79 M / 68 W on the PSAT (which reflects that I’m stronger in math than in reading or writing, which has been obvious since I was in grade school).

Meh. I’ll retake it as a senior if it hurts me in admissions. I have more important things to do than obsess over a standardized test.

it says i got 670 in math but i know i didnt get worse than a -3 raw, and the book suggests a 670 is -9 raw… should i pay the $50 to get my whole test re-done? (my overall score dropped 10 points so i think i’m going to just in case)

yeah i expected my score to be like 710 or 720 if the curve was really bad… but if people got 780s with -1 then -3 shouldnt be worse than 720 should it?

Which puts me right in the middle for my first choice (Northeastern University) And I went up from my PSAT in every section (up 180 points total)

I can’t believe I got a 7 essay… I’m a voracious reader, and overall fine writer, but i suppose the short timing killed me…
I guess i’m still on the run for NYU, but unless I improve my scores A LOT in 2 weeks (i’m taking it again in june) I can cross Columbia off my list… Im depressed
