I always use mechanical pencils on standardized tests instead of wood pencils, and I’ve never had a problem.</p>

<p>I’m very disappointed about US History because I know if I had taken it a week later when I took the AP exam I would have scored much higher. Does anyone know, however, if these scores are good enough to be competitive at schools like Columbia, NYU, and UC Berkeley? I’ve checked everywhere but I can’t find the average SAT II scores. Or should I try retaking in the fall?</p>

<p>Not perfect, but it’s enough to fulfill the language requirement at UPenn and Harvard (in case I get off H’s waitlist).</p>
<p>Of course, I don’t plan on dropping French, but I’m glad that I don’t have to worry about the requirement anymore. This makes my schedule more flexible.</p>
