Does this happen often? Are they likely to move it again? They just changed it because on Tuesday it still said the 26th. Grrrrr…

OK, so I am not crazy! I was thinking all week that today was the day and then today I went to check and it said May 28th. Way to mess with my head. Ofc, between me and my DD I am the one who is going insane over this lol. Could be worse. I remember being a HS junior myself and waiting by the mailbox for the scores for weeks (probably months even).

I don’t believe that random colleges know your specific score (like they also don’t know your specific PSAT score) but that they buy contact info for those who score in a particular range… so they may want 2000 and above, or “Super School” may look for 2200 and above, etc.
Only the schools that you send your score to know your specific score.
Regarding Ivies and other super selective schools, I don’t know that they buy any scores, as they are well known enough and receive enough applicants that they don’t need to solicit for more applicants. However, I do believe that they do receive something in order to solicit for more summer program applications.

I wish our scores were up today like they are supposed to be! I took 3 subject tests that I’m anxious to know the results.

@JBCHUN - I’m not looking at the email right now, but it basically said “Thank you for sending us your score from your recent SAT exam.” I don’t think I got any responses from the other 2 schools I sent my scores to and I did not receive a reply from National Merit either from having sent my score.

Ivies must have started buying lists as well as my ds got marketing emails from Princeton, Harvard, etc.

Everyone go this thread “Down With Collegeboard and their Nefarious Delays - The Scholar’s Rebellion,” where everything will be explained.

The scores are now out for those of you who didn’t know

yep it’s out! go check!

First try: 2260
I’m quite satisfied with the composite score.
But CR 670 is just so unacceptable…

My scores:

CR - 720
M - 760
W - 800 (essay score: 10)

My 800 in Writing brought my superscore up to a 2370:) I was really relieved that I managed to get a 10 on my essay, since my examples were pretty weak. (For my examples, I talked about myself and Britney Spears.)

I took the SAT subject tests…got a 750 on Math level 2, 790 on US history and 800 on French, so pretty happy. Glad they’re finally out!

Also took the subject tests

Math Level 2- 800
Chemistry- 800
US History- 800

sooooo happy!!!

First try, as a sophomore:

800 M
730 CR
720 W
9 Essay

2250…pretty much what i expected. Now if i can get those 50 more points this coming fall, i’ll be content :)

abyssmally disappointed! I got the exact same scores, albeit with a different score distribution. I guess i shouldnt be too put out…the superscore did go up 50 points :/

COMPOSITE: 2260
CR: 760
M: 720
W: 780

second time, junior year.

improvement from 2030 in January, do you think I should take it again?

Took the subject tests in May.

Lit: 800
US History: 730

Not ideal, but I don’t really need/care that much about my history score anyway. So I’m pretty content.

Subject tests…

Math II - 800
Chemistry - 800

I took the practice chemistry tests on Sparknotes and made 730s on both. I have no idea how I made an 800 without a very generous curve!

Composite: 2070

CR: 660
Math: 790
Writing: 620 (8/12 essay)

I suck…

Critical Reading - 800
Math - 700
Writing - 780 (Essay - 12/MC - 72)
Composite: 2280

Definitely could have done better on math but I am very happy.

poop. i went down.

700 math (down from 740)
700 cr (down from 730)
670 writing (down from 710)

2070 down from 2180 and didn’t get my 2200. now i have to try one more time
