i think the reading and writing curves will be average, but i think the math curve will be a little more generous... i heard that the march test had really easy math, so the curve was brutal- whereas i think the general consensus is that the math was tougher this time around, which would result in a more generous curve...

RE: Experimental Section

I think it was the critical reading section 5 ( about the past, future, and science fiction), but it could be just wishful thinking. None of my colleagues was able to answer all the questions in it.

ohhh good point. my bad. I appologize for my bitter words

10+19 does not equal 30, but in fact 29. sorry

Wow. You have to count Juan. 10+19+1=30 Use the calculator to verify ;0

the juan problem was 30.... if u got 27 u forgot to count juan in the line :-</p>

ill just take your word for it i guess...
what did you get for the math question with a circle inside a square, the squares sides were of length 12 and were divided into 3 parts, and the circle barely exceeded the square at all 4 edges?

and what about the question with n=p^2-100p, where n and p are both positive prime numbers, and they asked for p? i put 101

and what was the expression for the ratio one that someone asked about already?

lol ill stop and thx...

does anyone remember the question regarding juan???

RE: square and circle

the area is 40 pi

I think juan was an experimental section, because we didn't have it. For us, the experimental was critical reading about the duck-rabbit illusion.

The area was 40 Pi, I put 101 for P and E for the ratio question. :D

math in march was also hard for a lot of people, im sure the may curve will be similar. what was the essay topic?

ill expain the 101 question...it was the last grid in...so that everyone can tell me if my logic is correct and to help everyone asking for someone to explain it...

n=p^2-100p, and n and p are both POSITIVE and prime

that said, pXp must be greater than 100xp, or else n will not be positive

so the first prime greater than 100 is 101, plugging in you get:
n=101^2-100x(101)=101

Work sucks

can someone please tell me what the juan question was

i didn't have a section about rabbits, ducks, starwars or the past present future...experimental i guess

does that mean one of my math was experimental??

"I think juan was an experimental section, because we didn't have it."

Can't be...I had 4 reading, I know one was experimental cause there are only suspose to be 3

essay was about work being needed in peoples lives or some bs...

i wrote about the communist manifesto and made up a personal example

RE: ratio question

Was the ratio question about three people like m:f:z and m's share was something? I put E on that too.

Does anyone have a sense that they put out multiple versions of the test this time? I had experimental math, and it did not contain a question about Juan, or anything about n=p^2 being prime or whatever.

I know I had math experimental but I never saw the Juan question.

and yes I did make an allusion to office space in my essay...Hopefully it will fetch a 10 or 11
