May SAT 2011: Math Section

1/n+1 can someone remind me of that question please

wait the 3 integer combination was also EXPERIMENTAL!? OMG PRAISE THE LORD

It wasn’t - I had 2 error i.d sections and that math question

20th question in the 20 question math section (which I fond easier than the 18 question one) that was 1/n+1 can someone remind me of the exact question

anyone remember the question that had similar triangles, and 3 triangles with their points all meeting in the center. the biggest triangle had angles 70-70-40

for the one about net profits or something did anyone get 1 to 7?

^michael the answer was 240

They all had angles 40 at the end so it was 360-3(40) so it was 240 i think

^ nexttonormal i got 1/6… but idk if im right :(

ugh i think i went with 270 with some crazy logic i put togehter
and which section was experimental since i had 4 math sections?

nextonormal i got 1 to 6 if i remember right

No one knows the 1/n+1 question :(

what was the one that had a cube w/ sides of 12 and spheres w/ radii of 3…?
i had experimental math, this may have been in that section, idk

it was 240 and the net gain was 1 to 6, positive on both of those. michael that section wasn’t experimental cause i had it and i had experimental writing

How would you rank the Math in terms of difficulty. 10 being the hardest, 1 being the easiest?

does anyone remember the 23 weeks, 23 days, 24 stars, or 8.5 miles question? i didn’t have an experimental for math so there’s no reason i’d be confused and yet i don’t remember these questions O_O

the 1/n+1 question is “which of these has the lowest value” there was 1/nsquared, -1/nsquared, and 1/n-1 and another answer

nde - I’d say 7 or 8

^ pencil: YOURE RIGHT! thats what i got and im sure its right

Was the A^(3/2) problem from the experimental section or not? that was the only math problem I missed and now I’m frustrated because I’m pretty sure I had 4 math sections and if this wasn’t an experimental one, then I’m done to a 770…

yoursky - 8.5 was the one “if bob ran 5.5 miles for 5 days… how much for an average of 6 on the 6th day?” question

Does anyone remember the question that was:
if n<=-2, which is the least?
a) n-1
b) 1/(n-1)
c) 1/(n+1)
d) n/2
3) n/3 (something like that)

was the answer 1/(n+1)?
