^YAY! And I got 25 as well. Do you remember the y/x question?

it was x=ab and y=a+b or something, but after you put y over x, you were supposed to get 1/a+1/b

ok thanks
10 char

did anyone else get 23 as the median?..i was rushing on the section so I might not have crossed out the numbers correctly.

i got 25 too

I am VERY confident that the median was 25. I read through that one 3 times to make sure I had ordered the numbers correctly.

Awesome thanks!

im pretty sure the median was the smallest on there possibly 25 i dont know… but how many points do you guys think one mistake will cut of of my math grade? any chance of a -1 being 800?

I got 25 as well.

-1 is usually 780. 790 would be fairly rare. 770 has happened before but I don’t think the curve will be that harsh. There were a few tough/trippy problems.

Can anyone remind me what the median question was? I don’t remember having it, though I remember pretty much everything else here…

Ohh never mind, it was an mc right? I believe I got 25 as well.

It gave a chart of numbers like 10 through 39 (I’d approximate 8 or so) and you had to find the median.
Well, 3,5,7 would be the smallest prime numbers (and consecutive, incidentally), but they don’t work. So the next smallest set would be to raise 7 to 11, which does work, and is smaller than raising them all so that they are still consecutive.

was 25 choice A??
also did it ask for different prime numbers because 3+3+7 is prime too 63

@notanengineer: wow. now that’s trippy @___@

What about the venn diagram question

Was the triangle one with 70 degrees
180 or 240?

Venn diagram was 3. Similar triangles was 240. Prime numbers had to be “different,” specifically remember the word.

who else thought the math section was pretty tough…am so glad i had registered for june coz i missed lyk 6-8 qns

Aha sryyy yes x=9 is right xD 10x=90
and median is 25 i guess…dun clearly rmb though . there are 9 and i chose 5th one!
