May Sat Subject Test Results

Biology M - 800
USH - 800

Did anyone think the Bio curve was pretty good this time?

790 US History
790 Chemistry

I’m pleasantly surprised! They’re not perfect but they’re pretty freaking close, so yay.

Biology E: 800
US History: 800

So happy right now! I knew of at least one that I got wrong on bio…but it’s all water under the bridge now. Done with SAT IIs forever!!!

800 math 2
Now for bio on the 3rd…

Biology M - 760
… I thought I’d done better >.>

Biology M - 650 (i’m happy, considering this was completely self taught… will retake in October)
Chemistry - 720
Math II - 750

Quite surprised, I thought I did significantly worse on these!

US 780  taking bio on the 4th.

780 Biology-E (I expected somewhere in the mid 700’s, so I’m very happy about a score in the high 7’s)

750 US History(Happy, but I honestly thought I did better than that coming out of the test)

I’m happy with my scores, although they were the opposite of what I expected…

Chemistry- 800
Math Level 2- 800
US History- 800

how many incorrect on US History, can still get you a 700?

790 chem
740 lit

i only signed up for chem but i took the lit test just for kicks. is 740 a good score?

and also, what’s the equivalent score for the sat critical reading section…i’ve taken the sats twice and got 670, 680 each time. so does this mean when i take the test in june i’ll be able to score >740?

mathII – 780
physics – 800

im quite disappointed with my math. should i retake it?

Nope, a 780 is exactly what I got and it’s a great score. Even though I know I could get an 800, there are better uses of your time than trying to get an extra 20 points.
Most colleges won’t care whether you get 780 or 800, certainly on a subject test.

There is one reason to retake it, though - your own personal satisfaction of receiving a perfect score. It’s up to you to decide whether it’s worth it to spend the time (and money) for the perfect or not. I personally decided that it’s not, but that’s your choice.

Chemistry 760
US History 750

It’s a decent score alright. But now that I heard the curve for Chem has been incredibly generous this year, I’m wondering how much questions wrong would still earn you 800. Anyone know?

probably 4-5, maybe even more.

Is Sparknotes really that much harder for Chemistry??
Can someone please confirm that the 3rd (last) Princeton Review Test for Chemistry is extremely hard?

Does anyone feel that their physics test was misscored?

I feel dumb =(
math level 2- 600
literature- 680

I got Chem 700 math lvl2 710 and physics 700

I was expecting < 600 for Chem and > 750 for physics… I don’t want to waste $52 and don’t know if I should order hand verification…

anyone else thinking of a rescore? i got a 750 on ush and felt i was much closer to an 800. do schools view a 750 much different than an 800 for it to be worth retaking?
