MBA : SUNY Binghamton vs. Ithaca College

I'm an MBA applicant for SUNY Binghamton and Ithaca College. I got accepted into the MBA program with Binghamton already.

Which program do you recommend?

I'm an international student who lives in Ithaca. The tricky thing is I have to commute by bus from Ithaca to Binghamton (if I go for Binghamton) since I cannot drive. Is it much worth to attend Binghamton in spite of the distance? Or is Ithaca's program as good as Binghamton's?

(Binghamton's MBA is a 2-year-program, while Ithaca's is an 1-year.)

Any advice is welcomed, since it's so hard for me to decide which school to attend with such little knowledge about schools as an international.
Thanks.

You can always move to Binghamton for school....neither MBA program is a complete standout, so it's probably better for you to go for the cheaper one. I think you can get instate tuition at Binghamton. Neither is much better than the other...I'd give Binghamton the edge maybe.

Well, thanks for your advice. The thing is I cannot get in-state tuition at Binghamton with F-1 visa. In total, Ithaca's MBA costs less since it's only one-year program. I'm currently looking forward to hearing about financial aid from Binghamton. I'm not sure my qualification (GMAT score : 650/5.5, CBT TOEFL : 287, Three year-work experience, etc.) is good enough to get any kind of scholarship. Please wish me good luck. Thanks again.

fnj- both my girls go to school in the Ithaca area. One's in Ithaca-the other at Cortland. I'm somewhat familiar with the buses that serve the Ithaca- Bing area..
Are you sure there is good reliable bus service between Ithaca and Binghamton?? I know when my kids have travelled back to NYC, (with stops in Bing), they have either relied on Greyhound or Coach (shortline) Buses. Their are a few buses a day- but I wouldn't want to depend on those buses on a daily basis .--
Just to limit the aggrevation in travel, I'd opt for Ithaca.

Go to Ithaca since it is a one-year program and less $$$. The last thing you want is to graduate from Binghampton without a job and owe more money!! I would say the MBA program at each school is not generally known in NYC so it doesn't matter which you choose based on the name. Therefore, the edge should go to the cheaper option.

Go to Rochester and attend the Simon school at the University of Rochester. It's a real MBA program that you will be able to leverage
