I'm a high school senior, and I'm about to pick which college I want go to. I've narrowed it down to Duke and Berkeley (apparently everyone does this and has a really hard time deciding...). Assuming that I stay at the school I go to until I graduate, what would be a better place to go?

I hope to major in something that involves biotechnology and/or nanoengineering and then go to MBA school in order to get the engineering/business edge. Possibly engineering grad school later....
So, would this be possible? I would probably at least minor in finance or management or something in college.
Which school has better MBA school acceptance rates?

Engineering + MBA may be a good combo for many people (I did it, and added an MS engineering later for good measure). But don't worry about that now. Both Duke & Berkeley are excellent schools. Pick one (even if it comes down to "do I want the ocean on the right or on the left?"), do well, chase a few dreams, take some business courses as electives or as a minor, and decide in 4 years what you want to do about graduate schools. Take advantage of undergraduate research programs, internships, and co-op programs to find out if you really like a field - you may find out you don't (which is not a bad thing) and if you do, you'll KNOW it. Don't worry too much about specialization at the undergraduate level - what you are working on 5, 10, 20 years later may/will have nothing to do with what you study over the next 4 years.

Also, note that many (if not most) MBA schools will want you to get a few years real-world experience before entering their program.

Thanks a lot for the advice. Anything else, anyone? :-)
