I'm kind of used to seeing subtitles, since my daily fodder almost consists exclusively of anime already. Besides, it's convinient since I'm trilingual, so I can watch whichever version I can get my greedy hands upon. My mum is more into the more sentimental ones, like "Winter Sonata" and "Autumn Fairytale". I'm more into Hong Kong drama personally, of its plots of intense family feuds and the like, as well as historical drama.

man no wonder I'm so out of touch with American tv shows -_-;;

since my mom likes to watch korean drama, I have to watch it with her. I didn't watch that many hong kong drama so I can't really say anything about it. Recently I only watch whatever is only tv and there isn't anything interesting to watch. Although when I'm bored, I will watch that drama called the bizarre bunch.

The drama reminds me a bit of Hana Yori Dango. It's alright so far after watching two episodes. I found the manga confusing to follow; the live action brings out the story much better in my opinion.

ln17 yeah it's 'the sweet spy' translated. The korean american guy couldn't act for crap but he was hot lol
Translated dramas..? Like with different voices? That would be.. weird..

NozFX, what nationality are you?
Do you only watch korean dramas?. If yes then what is for all time favorite drama and actress?
What do you think of Choi ji woo?
I also have another question, in other threads I usually see the word LOL- What does it mean?
Thanks!!!

LOL - laugh out loud
I'm korean and I only watch korean dramas and american shows.
I dont really have a favorite actress/actor.. but I get really ****ed off if a drama casts a group of amateurs who cant act.. (maybe picked for prettiness..?) That's why I dont really like Goong because all of them cant act in my opinion. And the prince guy cant act. Even the lead girl cant act. And the prince guy has no charismatic characteristics.. he cant play his part well, like he tries too hard that it looks so fake..
I think choi ji woo is a wonderful actress. I know she's had plastic surgery (like every 2nd over-20-y/o-females in korea) but she seems like.. if she's had the least..? It's like she has natural beauty.. I dont know.. Girls with the major cosmetic surgery -nose eyes jaw cheekbones chin everything- puts me off.
I get crushes on the korean actors easily.. usually the staunch on the outside but soft in the inside cliche characters lol
Yeah anyway a lot of the dramas she has been in, was emotional and made me cry haha

isn't goong palace a bit too long? i mean 24 episodes?! whoa.

since i've been busy with school work, i stopped on episode 15. i might finish the rest after the ap exams. my sister told me it's pretty boring though.

I skipped from episode 2 to episode 21 yesterday (i think it was 21)... the one where the couple went on some tv show and announced their ******* (dont want to spoil it for others)

it is still boring. i fell asleep in the middle of ep 21.

umm we just get the videos really quickly from the korean video stores here..
Like I think we get them 1.5 weeks or less, after it airs in korea..
