McCombs BHP

<p>Hey guys, so I've decided that I'm gonna try and shoot for McCombs BHP but I dunno my chances of getting in.</p>

<p>My current class rank is 49 with a GPA of 4.46 (There are 520 students in my grade - I'm barely cutting top 10%)
I'm currently in IB (I hope that compensates for my low rank - IB is why it got so low in the first place haha)
As a Freshman/Sophomore: Soccer, Band
Junior: FBLA Treasurer - 1st in Economics, 1st in Entrepeneurship at district level (state coming up soon), Chinese Business internship, Soccer, Band, United Way, NHS, Robotics - Best Competition, First Competition, Varsity Science Bowl, French Club, Who's Who award, and IB.</p>

<p>I'm registered for a few AP exams this year and I've taken the SAT in March. I felt confident on it but I plan on taking it 2 more times.</p>

<p>I know that a ton of you have already answered questions like these, but whats one more? Haha my questions are simply: Currently what are my chances of getting into McCombs BHP? and How can I improve my chances?</p>

<p>Rank is pretty important for BHP, their average rank is around top 2.5%, so focus on that. Also, leadership.</p>

<p>Well actually, for BHP it’s a holistic process.
It does not rely heavily on rank…it looks at everything.
But McCombs looks at rank, and u have to get into McCombs inorder to be in BHP.
But if BHP wants u enough, McCombs will have to accept you.
So impress BHP with a stellar interview, leadership skills, and above all, personality, and McCombs will have to accept you too.</p>

<p>My rank wasn’t the best, but I still got in.</p>

<p>and your GPA is wayyyyyy better than mine.
BHP will also take into account your small class size.</p>
