McGill Acceptance Decisions Class 2024 (Entering 2020)

Me too. What does that mean? Is it a good thing?

how long is the wait after submitting first semester grades? I submitted mine two days ago and still hasn’t changed from further review required

I uploaded my first semester grades last week. Portal still says “further review required,” which Admissions says means something is missing from the checklist. I called the service point and spoke to a human, who said that my portal says “ready for review.” It doesn’t say that on my end, it hasn’t changed from “further review required.” I don’t even know what to think at this point.

Are you also doing A-Levels?

@Molly28 I am having the same issue.

@Molly28 Hi ! It’s absolutely normal. I had the same problem until my portal changed to admitted. In some cases it doesn’t change from FRR to RFR. ?

My daughter finally received her acceptance yesterday for mechanical engineering.
US public high school
13 APs, ACT 36
Good luck everyone.

Any Lebanese applicants here?

The status for my S says “Further Review Required” and “transcript of second trimester” has appeared in the list of documents to provide. The worry is that second trimester results won’t come in before mid March…My S is international. His average is above the requirements for our country. Any insights?

@avschi01 My S also applies Mcgill computer engineering and currently received the “Further Review Request”. He is also from US public high school. I was wondering for international students, the tuition of Mcgill for engineering is high. If my understanding is correct, it’s about 45K~50K USD. My S also was admitted to Purdue which the cost is about 42K~45K USD and Penn State, 32K~36K USD. Both universities have good engineering programs. I am debating in why to Mcgill. Would you mind sharing your thought of choosing Mcgill?

Mine just changed to admitted (pending final results)! Whew. Thanks!

@cwstrees International tuition for engineering is about Canadian $45,000 or about USD$34,000.

hey,
I’m Lebanese.
Whats up?

Thanks. The number I roughly estimated including everything and also considered 1.3 exchange rate. I just thought the cost of engineering programs at Mcgill is high.

My daughter was admitted to the Science (B.Sc) and Inter-faculty (B.A. & B.Sc) programs.
School: US high school
GPA: 3.91 (unweighted), 4.5 (weighted)
ACT: 35
APs: 5 APs with score 5, 1 AP with score 4.

She applied Jan 14 and was notified on Feb 6.

Good luck, everyone.

I think it’s 42 not 45 for international students

I’m really excited, McGill is one of my top choices! I’m still waiting on major entrance scholarship results, but it’s nice to be admitted. I turned my mid-term grades in about two weeks ago, just got my results Saturday.

No response on Arts and Sciences but I’m not too surprised by that. My last document went in on Jan 27 but didn’t get processed until February 6 according to Minerva. I was on “Further Review Required” for like a month before that. Good luck!
