McGill Chance of Admission? (American Student)

<p>I was wondering what my chance of admission to McGill would be with the following grades/activities/ect.</p>

<p>ACT Composite (which I will be applying with): 32
SAT: Reading - 700 Math - 670 Writing - 680</p>

<p>My school refuses to adopt a weighted class ranking system, therefore I am currently ranked 17th of 164 students.</p>

<p>My UNWEIGHTED GPA is 94.6
I have taken both AP Calculous (AB) and AP English Literature and received 4's on both exams.</p>

<p>I was in the advanced science, math, Spanish, and English programs as well as a select engineering program. I have two years of Wind Ensemble (our schools elite music program) along with two years of soccer, three years of indoor track, one year of tennis, and one year of ice hockey. Along with those school sports, I have played ice hockey for an assortment of club teams for numerous years. </p>

<p>I am a member of Key Club and a soon to be member of English Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Science Honor Society.</p>

<p>I will have at least two leadership positions by the time of my application.</p>

<p>If you need any more information, please don't hesitate to ask, I would like the most accurate estimations on my chance of admission.</p>

<p>Also, if it helps, I plan on applying to the Faculty of Science.</p>

<p>Firstly, your extracurricular activities dont matter at all, its just academic that they’re interested in.</p>

<p>Your ACT score is good and I cant comment much on your other stats. You’ll probably get into some facultys and rejected from the more competitive ones if I had to venture a guess.</p>

<p>Science has the following requirements. If you satisfy it your as good as in.</p>

<p>Courses: pre-calculus; two of biology, chemistry or physics</p>

<p>A- average in grades 10, 11 and 12; A- in each prerequisite math and science; each SAT I and II 670 or ACT 30</p>

I have taken all three of those courses already and have the required average. I also plan on retaking the ACT and getting a 33/34 as the 32 was my first try and I honestly didn’t study for it like I should have. </p>

<p>The Faculty of Science is that easy to get into? Just meet the requirements and you’ll get in?</p>
