Guys, is it possible for McGill to waive the application fees?
@gigichuck There are no application fee waivers. Also if you are looking for a full ride scholarship as your posting history indicates Canadian schools are not for you.
Is anyone still on the waiting list? I applied as a transfer student and my status changed from “Reviewed-decision pending” to “Name confirmed on waiting list” yesterday. It’s almost mid-August. I’m so nervous :-/
@TomSrOfBoston I’m looking at the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship there
when did you apply and what program did u apply for? @Hisandy
I’m still on decision pending
@Hisandy Yeah i’ve been on the waitlist since mid June for Arts… Transfer as well.
@sostressed123 I applied for Arts and completed my file on May 9th. My status changed from ready for review to decision pending on July 28th.
For all those waiting on the waitlist I would advise you to check your status. They updated mine and refused due to limited space available.
@sags95 Hey, I am sorry to hear that. Did u apply as a transfer or second degree applicant? And what department did you apply to and from where?
Transfer for Faculty of Arts. It’s fine i’ve been already admitted into another faculty so worst case i’ll just transfer faculties.
@sags95 What faculty did you get accepted into? and Where did you transfer from?
I was admitted yesterday directly, not through a waiting list.
@laelaemtl for which faculty?
Science. I applied as a mature student, which is the last category to be reviewed for admission I think.
Great to hear about all the acceptances, but is there anyone on here who has been rejected (particularly to arts)? I would like to hear some of those stats
@Soso123 did you apply incredibly close to the deadline or early on?
