hi all,
just wondering how much legacy plays into admissions? i would be tenth from my family and third generation. i'm canadian born, have a canadian passport/birth certificate, and would reapply for residency BUT i attended all my schooling in the USA....what do you think about my admission chances? also, two other kids have applied from my school with no legacy/canadian citizenship, but they do have better grades...

Legacy probably plays no role, and being Canadian doesn’t help you get admitted as much as going to a Canadian school would. (In fact, if I had to guess, I’d say they don’t care.) They don’t even check immigration docs until you get there.
