I have a friend who is trying to decide between McGill or Kenyon College. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Kenyon. Does anyone else know about this school? Kenyon is unofficially in the Little Ivy. McGill is unofficially called the Canadian Ivy. =P

I saw on the Princeton Review that both schools received A- for education. Both are quite selective. Both were founded in the 1820's. McGill, of course, has an international reputation, but Kenyon is not very well known (as far as I'm aware --it has a regional reputation).

The only differences I have found: McGill is located in the center of Montreal, where as Kenyon is basically in the middle of nowhere. McGill is HUGE while Kenyon has a small student body and a very connected community. Kenyon has a gorgeous campus. I've heard that while McGill is bureaucratic, there is a much better relationship between students and professors at Kenyon. And lastly, McGill draws from a much larger body of students (around the world) than Kenyon, which appears to draw from the surrounding states.

I am looking for an unbiased opinion: Does anyone know more about Kenyon? Does anyone know any more factors which could help shed light on deciding between these two schools?

Thanks!!!
