if anyone knows what mcgill is do you think it is worth going to USC considering Mcgill is liek half the price im paying full tuition at USC.. and im doing engineering to start out wit

I'd say USC if you're planning on working in the USA afterwards...
(but they're both excellent schools).

yeah working in us and wanna go to grad school in us

I told my opinions about Mcgill in an earlier post because i applied to mcgill and usc too. It was within the past week so it should be around here somewhere.

A professor of mine did his undergrad at McGill, and had his pick of the litter when grad school came up. In the academic community, at least. McGill has a fantastic reputation.

My dad's a doctor and knows a doctor who did his medical training at McGill. From what I heard, Mcgill is a great school but UG classes tend to be large... In other words, great for graduate school but not as much fo UG. I don;t know the statistics on grad school however.. I think they're pretty similar as far as admissions. I honestly don't know much about the engineering programs at the two schools however... do I guess thats the biggest question.

wow i applied to both of these schools and i've pretty much narrowed it down to usc and mcgill as well. I'm doing business though, and I'm really not sure which one would be better. Also, its hard because I'm from new york and want to live there later on so I'm trying to decide which would allow me to find a job over here easier after undergrad. Good luck to you!

Don't go to Canada! j/k

USC for sure though

annyny419 , if it's business, then definitely go to USC. I know Mcgill is more of a science-oriented school.

what about engineering anyone know which one will be better
