ME Industrial Engineering TAMU or MBA UH

Hello,

I have recently been applying to different graduate programs and have thankfully been accepted to my top 2 choices. I am in between a Master’s of Engineering in IE at Texas A&M, and the MBA program at The University of Houston. I was originally accpeted at TAMU for their MS in Engineering Systems Management, but after some research it seems that might be a waste since my bachelor’s is in mathematics from UH, and not an engineering discipline. Both curriculums interest me but I am still not sure what kind of career I would like. My biggest flaw is that I don’t have any real professional work experience or internships. I’m still at the job I had in college, (which I needed so I could pay for college and support my family, hence the no internships), which is a manager at a SMALL business in exterior home remodeling. Which degree do you think will give me the most opportunities, both while in the program ( wife works now so I can take time for internships), and after graduation. Given my undergrad in mathematics, and no real experience. Thank you for your help!
