My son has the Silver Plan, which gives him 990 campus points and 400 flex points. The plan costs $1,913, with $523 of it going to operating expenses. Is that the amount every student must pay toward maintaining dining areas? Will there be a similar fee if I need to add more points?

yes… thats the question that everyone has and there is no official answer. Where the hell does that money go?

I been at the Brook for four years already. No one has the official answer. We would like to assume that the money goes to operating expenses and not the administrators pocket. Still, the Meal plans are significantly cheaper than other schools, let say for example Uconn which has a base price of over ~2,500 in their plan…

There wont be a similar fee in the case that you need to add points after your son runs out of meal points.

Thanks, CollegeKid. I’m hoping I won’t have to add more points. Starbucks and Jasmine seem to be his most frequent destinations and I’m not sure what he had at CPK yesterday, but it cost $15. I may not know what he does everyday, but at least I know where he’s eating :D
