MechE major, Comp. Sci minor

I am interested and plan to major in mechE. And I feel that the job prospects for mechatronics is quite high. I'm interested in it too.

For mechatronics, CS is needed to create mechanical systems that are automatic. It would also be needed because mechanics will be integrated into electronics. Do you guys know where all mechatronics would be used and which companies might recuit you?

Gatech seems to be the only university that offers Comp. Sci as a minor and I'm pretty thrilled about it. One it will help me focus on mechatronics and look like a better candidate. Can you guys help me analyze this option? Would this minor help me? Moreover, CS guys are paid much higher so with this as a minor, is there a possibility that my salary could be higher?
Thank you in advance, I'm dying for answers..
