mechE major math and chem courses

Hello, I am currently a soon to be freshman with an undeclared major. I hope to be a mechE major after taking the required courses and hopefully getting a good GPA. I have passed the ap chem and bc calc tests with 5s. Would it be beneficial to take chem6ah? I have a genuine interest for chemistry and I am wondering if it would help me in my future studies. Also, has anyone taken math 31AH? How hard is it compared to the regular 20 series (I would be taking 20c instead).

My schedule would consist of warren writing, chem6ah,math 31ah, and an area studies course (probably going to be some economics course). I do not know if this would be too hard for a first semester freshman, and would like some input.

THANKS!

go ahead; there’s no penalty for dropping the class within the first four weeks if you decide you don’t like it. lots of discussion concerning 6AH if you’re up for reading it. check the archives.
