i am wondering what med. schools are the best to go to to become a plastic surgeon?
thanks

Med schools do not teach plastic surgery. Plastic and reconstructive surgery training occurs in residency, usually beginning only after a minimum of three years of general surgery residency. Not surprisingly, the better plastic and reconstrutive programs are affiliated with the major teaching hospitals, e.g., Duke, Hopkins, USC, Baylor, Penn, Mass General, Cleveland Clinic, etc. The top plastic surgery programs are very long and very demanding.
